Short Educational Programs in Cuba Global Learning is able to make arrangements for an educational trip to Cuba of one to three weeks for a college or university, church, or non-profit organization. The educational activities include pre-travel reading and E-mail exchanges as well as visits in Cuba to hospitals and health centers, schools and universities, political institutions, research centers, women’s organizations, workers’ organizations, agricultural cooperatives, and neighborhood organizations. The programs are based on a pedagogical philosophy of the integration of intellectual work and the experience of encounter with leaders of mass organizations, social service and political institutions, and academics and intellectuals in Cuba. Each program is designed in accordance with the interests and needs of the institution organizing the group.
